Paste a UFI printed on a CLP label to reveal the company identifier and formulation number encoded inside it.
Need to create one? Generate a UFIA UFI — Unique Formula Identifier — is the 16-character code you print on a CLP hazard label. It links the exact formulation of your product to the poison-centre notification you filed, so an emergency responder can identify what's in it.
The code isn't random: it encodes the notifier's company identifier — an EU/UK VAT number or a company-assigned key — together with a formulation number, protected by a checksum. This tool reverses that encoding; it doesn't look anything up in a database.
Decoded locally from the code itself. A valid UFI only means the code is well-formed — it doesn't confirm a poison-centre notification exists.
