Terms of service
These terms govern your use of Molekule, operated by Aura Deco Candles SL. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
The service
Molekule is a software service that reads a fragrance safety data sheet, computes a finished product's CLP hazard classification and safe fragrance load, stores it as a product, and helps you design print-ready labels. It is provided on a subscription basis.
Eligibility and accounts
The service is intended for businesses and professional makers, and you must be at least 18 to use it. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Sign-in is handled through our authentication provider.
Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider and renew automatically for successive periods until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then. Prices are shown exclusive or inclusive of VAT as indicated at checkout; we may change prices with reasonable notice, effective from your next renewal.
Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. By starting to use the service during that period you request that performance begin immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security or access other users' data, no reverse engineering except as permitted by law, and no use that disrupts or overloads the service.
Your content
You keep ownership of the safety data sheets, formulations, product data and label designs you upload or create. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and process that content in order to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and for the accuracy of the data you enter.
Compliance disclaimer
Molekule is a tool to assist your regulatory work, not a substitute for it. Its classifications, labels, load limits and other outputs are generated from the data you provide and from published rules, and may contain errors or omissions. You remain solely responsible for verifying that your products and labels comply with all applicable CLP, IFRA, poison-centre and other regulations before you sell or distribute them. We give no warranty that the outputs are error-free, complete or fit for a particular regulatory purpose.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available and reliable but provide it "as is" and do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including a consumer's statutory rights.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service unlawfully, and will give notice where reasonable.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes are subject to the courts of Barcelona, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of consumers to bring proceedings before the courts of their own domicile.
Changes and contact
